The Transportation Museum Andrew Mancini, Director
The museum's collection of posters and whiteboards is very extensive. Many of the museum's guests marveled at the displays. Thank you to all the transit agencies, across the United States, that have sent me interesting collections, along with other items.
Posters, Whiteboards and more.
Sent by Capital Metro, this small whiteboard was at the museum explaining what food was available at the time, and what other events were going on. The whiteboard shows the Red Line, along with stations.
Both sent by Capital Metro, the poster on the left shows a family sad about their child running on the tracks. The poster on the right, in Spanish, states the ACORN rules.
On the left, the poster shows gas prices going up and up and asking you "Does the price of gas make you want to laugh or cry?" On the right, the poster shows one of the Valley's Hit Band, Captain Squeegee, with a song called 'Be Courteous' -- on transit. You can see the Valley Metro "notes", including this one, by clicking Go to Link.
